BELDING FIRE DEPARTMENT

They came to us with an idea of a custom flatbed for their brand new brush fire truck. Nothing already on the market worked for their needs so we built exactly what they wanted and how they wanted it. They started with a drawing and how they wanted certain stuff placed. We were able to design most of it before we even built it. During the build progress they came by and we adapted if needed. Everything works as they wanted!

LAND ROVER DISCOVERY

We began this complete frame-off restoration by tackling a heavily deteriorated original chassis. After the client sourced a brand-new frame, we had it professionally powder-coated locally for long-lasting protection. We then upgraded the suspension with new shocks, a lift kit, and all-new bushings before precision-mounting the body back onto the fresh frame. Finally, we reinstalled the engine and transmission, turning the key to bring the build back to life.

Did a very nice job at a fair price for my '93 Land Rover Defender including changing out chassis, new transmission, and new suspension with lift. Good communication and timely work. Would use again.

THE '67 CAMARO

Customer came in with a bad front subframe, it was rusted and cracked. He wanted to upgrade to a modern Ridetech assembly, this came with a new steering system and suspension setup. This improved handling dramatically, we then installed a rear subframe with coil overs, we then installed a new rear subframe with coilovers. These will help handling and adjustability to make the driving experience what you want. We then installed a Wilwood Big Brake kit, this replaced the rear drum brakes with disc and improved the size of the front brakes to help with stopping power and they look cool! Lastly we installed new torque thrust wheels and continental tires to finish off the look of the car.

The staff at Fab Lab installed a new Ridetech front subframe on my 1967 Camaro SS & did an awesome job. The new rack & pinion steering feels 100 percent better than my old outdated power steering system. I also love the new adjustable coil over shocks.

They also located & repaired my transmission leaks that other repair shops couldn’t seem to find & fix right.

While it was there they even found my distributor cap had melted on the inside which could have left me stranded.

Ryan also found a spark plug wire had melted on my headers. He installed a new cap & wires & began fixing my valve cover leaks.

They even covered my fenders with blankets to protect the paint job while servicing my vehicle.
After repairing all of the leaks they even cleaned the fluids off the whole bottom of my car. The staff treated my car like it was their own car, which is how all shops should operate!!!

My engine runs considerably better & the ride & handling are awesome.
I’ll definitely be returning in the near future for some more projects on this classic car & my daily driver.

If you’re searching for a crew that takes pride in their work & does quality work, this is the place for you.

2026 F-150 RIDETECH LOWERING KIT

We installed a Street Grip lowering kit made by Ridetech. This kit gave our customer 3” of drop in the front, 5.5” in the rear. Fully adjustable coilovers in the front with an adjustable shackle in the rear. We also added traction bars for added grip and a set of airbags for extra support if they haul a trailer or heavy load. Truck also received a set of 22” DUB wheels and Nitto tires!

"

Initially I got ahold of FabLab by accident. I wanted to build a lowered F-150 SCSB. After much research I settled on a Ridetech kit. Next step was to search out a Ridetech dealer and do some diggin. FabLab came up as the closest to me at a 100 miles away. After contacting Ryan and asking a million questions I really felt Ryan had a complete grasp of my vision and the knowledge to complete it. Once he received the truck he kept me well informed of where he was at and made sure we stayed on the same page throughout the process. I added to the job during the whole process and Ryan was very patient. Even had him do a partial interior swap from a vinyl floor and bench seat to carpet, console and buckets. The combination of knowledge, experience, capabilities, patience and friendliness is why I’d recommend Ryan and FabLab for any automotive job. It’s why he’ll be finishing up the mechanical aspect of this build with a Whipple install. In closing if you’re on the fence about normal repairs, custom work don’t be, FabLab will do you right.
